| Proposal: | In spring 2016, the University Senate Office received a copy of the University of Maryland Sexual Misconduct Policy (VI-1.60[A]) with revisions, which were approved on an interim basis by the University President effective March 21, 2016. The revisions to the policy were developed based on input from a recent review by the State of Maryland's Attorney General's Office of all sexual misconduct policies and procedures at institutions within the University System of Maryland (USM). |

The committee found the changes to be acceptable. EDI discussed the rationale behind the changes to the policy and identified other minor modifications and technical changes needed. |
