Senate Bill 14-15-28

Bill ID: 14-15-28
Name: Consideration of a New Post-Doctoral Title
Proposed: 02/12/2015
Sponsor: Juan Uriagereka, Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs
Proposal: The current framework for professional track faculty titles was revised and approved by the University Senate and President in April 2014, and by the University System in October 2014 (Senate Document # 12-13-55). In February 2015, during the implementation process for the new titles, the Office of Faculty Affairs received requests for an additional title to provide a title for entry-level post-doctoral appointments. Because this additional title would require an amendment to the University APT policy, the Office of Faculty Affairs requested that the Senate consider this matter.
