Received: 05/06/2013
Decision Date: 11/06/2014
Decision Due By: 11/07/2014
Decision: To put forward a report and with recommendations to the SEC for Senate consideration.
Actions: The EDI Committee began working on this charge in November 2013. Following advice from the Chair of the Senate and the Director of the Senate, the committee focused its work on issues of respect for others, rather than on "grievances," as was written in the charge.

The EDI Committee met with several members of the Conflict Resolvers Network (CRN) on March 10, 2014.

Due to the complex nature of this review, the EDI Committee found that it would not be able to meet its original deadline of March 14, 2014. In March 2014, the EDI Committee submitted a request for a deadline extension to the SEC. The SEC granted an extension until November 7, 2014. The incoming EDI Committee continued to work on this charge throughout the fall 2014 semester.
