The Open Access Task Force was created jointly by the Provost and the Senate in April 2013 to review and examine a broad range of issues related to open access. The task force reported its findings to the Senate on February 14, 2013, and the Senate voted to approve the recommendations. The President approved the report on February 20, 2013.
