Proposal: The University of Maryland Plan of Organization for Shared Governance establishes the University IT Council as one of the University Councils. Section 7.6.e of the Senate Bylaws requires each University Council develop its own bylaws, which must be approved by the designated administrative officer and by the Senate. The University IT Council has developed and approved its bylaws and has asked the Senate to review and approve them so they can be included in Appendix 3 of the Senate Bylaws.
