| Actions: | The Faculty Affairs Committee reviewed the APT section of the newly revised College of Education Plan of Organization at its meeting on September 6, 2011. The Committee found the APT section to be in compliance and voted to approve the APT section of the Plan. The ERG Committee began reviewing the College of Education Plan at its September 12, 2011 meeting. The Committee identified areas of concern regarding the organization of the Plan, committee memberships, and hierarchy systems within the Plan. The Committee voted to return the Plan to the College of Education with suggestions and comments. The Committee created a transmittal detailing the Plan's missing elements in addition to providing editorial suggestions. The Committee submitted this documentation to the College of Education and requested a newly revised version of the Plan be made available no later than October 24, 2011. On October 27, 2011 the College of Education returned its revised Plan of Organization to the ERG Committee. The Committee briefly discussed the revisions at its November 7, 2011 meeting and agreed to identify any remaining concerns before the December ERG meeting. At the December 6, 2011 ERG meeting the Committee reviewed all of the submitted comments and agreed to edit the suggestions into a checklist format (utilizing the Best Practices in Shared Governance Document from Senate Doc. No. 09-10-49) before returning the Plan to the College of Education for additional review. The Plan was returned to the College of Education on January 31, 2012. The College of Education submitted a revised Plan to the ERG Committee in mid March, 2012. ERG reviewed the revised version of the Plan at its March 28, 2012 meeting and voted to approve it. |

| Decision: | The College of Ed is currently in the midst of a re-organization. They have withdrawn their Plan until that re-organization is complete. |
| Actions: | Because of the reorganization the College of Ed has made significant changes to the Plan making it difficult to provide a "track changes document" to allow for ERG to easily review the changes. Chair Pound suggested the College of Education provide the original Plan, the new Plan, and a cover document with some discussion giving details about reasons for changes. The College of Ed submitted the revised Plan along with the additional documents for review in July of 2011. The ERG and Faculty Affairs Committee will begin their review at the beginning of the Fall 2011 Semester. |
