Proposal: The Elections, Representation, & Governance Committee will propose changes to the Bylaws to reflect the current responsibilities of the Faculty Affairs Committee. The Faculty Affairs Committee reviews the Appointment, Evaluation, and Promotion Policy of each College, School, and the Libraries for compliance with the UM Guidelines for Appointment, Evaluation, and Promotion of Professional Track Faculty. These reviews also occur whenever the Senate reviews the Plan of Organization of a College, School, or the Libraries.
