Proposal: The issue of telework has been a topic of discussion for the Staff Affairs Committee over many years. After consulting with the Director of Staff Relations in University Human Resources (UHR), the committee determined that it would be beneficial to create guidelines that UHR could use as protocol and best practices for supervisors and employees at the University who are interested in developing telework agreements for eligible employees.

The Staff Affairs Committee voted to endorse the revised Teleworking Guidelines and Agreement by an email vote concluding on March 23. The revised drafts were sent to UHR, which indicated that it, too, was in support of the revised versions on March 24. The committee will finalize its work on this issue by reporting its actions to the SEC.
