| Proposal: | Every 5 years, the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) updates the Maryland State Plan for Higher Education. In the year following the approval of the state plan, each institution and regional center must submit their mission statement to MHEC for review. Since the state plan was recently revised, USM institutions must review their mission statements this year. |
