Proposal: | The University of Maryland, College Park should establish a Parental Leave Policy that goes beyond 'best practices' and establish a minimum of six weeks of guaranteed paid leave to full time GAs that become parents, through birth or adoption. In addition, it should be established that GAs shall not be required to continue working in those six weeks of leave. |
