Actions: ERG Committee:

The ERG Committee received the BSOS Plan of Organization in April 2011. It discussed the plan on April 13, 2011 and decided to send the plan back to BSOS with comments in late April with a plan review checklist.

BSOS returned a revised version of the plan on November 7, 2011. The committee members discussed the plan on December 6th. The committee incorporated the written comments into their checklist and the plan was sent back to BSOS with comments in January 2012.

On March 3, 2012, BSOS submitted a revised version of the plan to the ERG Committee. The committee discussed the plan at the March 28th meeting and decided that the plan needed further review. The plan was electronically distributed to members and was discussed further at the first fall meeting of the ERG in September 2012. On September 7, 2012, the BSOS Plan of Organization Working Group was formed to work directly with BSOS to move the plan forward.

The Working Group reported back to the full committee at the meeting on October 22, 2012. They presented the revised Plan submitted by BSOS in October, and discussed the changes in the Plan. The full ERG Committee voted to approve the Plan of Organization and send it to the SEC and the Senate pending completion by the Faculty Affairs Committee.

Faculty Affairs Committee:

The Faculty Affairs Committee received the APT section of the BSOS Plan of Organization for review in September 2012. The committee discussed the section on October 4, 2012. The committee decided to seek further information and make two suggestions to BSOS before voting on approval. The committee revisited the APT section on November 19, 2012 and amended the text of the APT section. BSOS approved of the change, and the Faculty Affairs Committee voted to approve the APT section.
