| Proposal: | Based on recent concerns regarding the alignment of the Senate Bylaws with current practices the Senate leadership suggested that the Senate Executive Committee may want to consider charging the Elections, Representation, and Governance (ERG) Committee with a comprehensive review of the Senate Bylaws. This would the ERG Committee to align the Bylaws with current practice and ensure that revisions in one section of the Bylaws are appropriately reflected in associated sections of the Bylaws. This is also a more cohesive approach over ad hoc amendments made on the Senate floor. |

| Actions: | Two amendments were proposed by Senator Lanford related to changes in titles in the upper administration which President Pines announced after the committee had approved its recommendations. Senator Lanford proposed an additional amendment to make the Bylaws more gender-inclusive by revising some of the pronouns in the document. All three amendments were passed by the Senate. |

The committee developed revisions to the Bylaws in spring 2021. On March 2, 2021, the ERG Committee voted to approve the revisions to the Bylaws. |
