Roberto Munster

Roberto MunsterI served in the University Senate for a year and it was a great experience! I particularly enjoyed working in the Student Affairs Committee, where we designed a new policy on health insurance. We learned a lot and were able to make positive changes. Being in the Senate Executive Committee gave me insight into a variety of issues, including online course evaluations, the Strategic Plan, apportionment of elected Senators, the University's budget, and many others.

The Senate is a great place for students to work with faculty, staff and administrators. Students should get involved in decision-making processes to improve the quality of life and academics at the University. Most Senate and Committee meetings are open, so don't be afraid to show up if you are interested.
